Knitted Ornament Contest! Bring in an ornament
you have knitted or crocheted and we’ll display it for a Viewers
Choice Award. The winner will receive a $25 gift certificate.
Ornaments must be in the store by November 16th.
The winner will be notified on December 16th.
First Tuesday!
Bring your supper and a project to work on the first Tuesday of
every month. Free for everyone … we’ll be open till 8:00 … no
instruction provided at this time. The first Tuesday in October, the
3rd, we’re having a Yarn Tasting Party
… bring your needles (different sizes) and come in and play. We’ll
have a ‘buffet’ of little skeins for you to ‘taste’!
Updating the Mailing List
We will be sending out the next postcards in January. Please let
us know if you wish to stay on the mailing list. Use
our contact page for information.
Charity Knitting (or crocheting)
We have information and free patterns available for those of you
who are interested in donating completed items.
Holiday Party
Stop in on December 16th and help us celebrate … we’ll have
refreshments and whoop it up with the Ornament Contest Winner!
Help
We are always available for help with a project. If you get
‘stuck’, come see us! If you have purchased your yarn from us, there
is no fee. If you purchased it elsewhere, there is a $5 fee. For
those of you who want regularly scheduled ‘instruction’, check out
the ‘Open’ class.
Individual Lessons
Call or come by to make arrangements to learn, or get help with your
knitting or crochet. The fee ranges from $7 to $10, depending on the
length of the lesson and the number of interruptions! (Sometimes we
have to take a few minutes to help a customer.)
